Mandeville Primary School

Welcome to Mandeville Primary School

Outside Mandeville Primary SchoolAt Mandeville Primary School, we aim to provide an inclusive, caring and supportive environment, which has high expectations and values all members of the school community. We recognise and respect the needs and aspirations of all individuals and provide opportunities for all pupils to make the best possible progress and attain the highest personal achievements.

Pupils at Mandeville enjoy their learning and achieve highly. This success is as a result of a strong partnership between all members of the school community - pupils, parents/carers, staff and governors.

"All staff are highly dedicated professionals, committed not only to enabling pupils to make the very best progress, but also to helping them become independent, reflective learners. They also have a real sense of fun!" (Ofsted Inspection Report, June 2009)

Our intention is for this site to tell you a little about our school and what we value. Please browse through the pages and read the information available. We hope that you find it useful but strongly believe that you can best appreciate what we do by coming to see us. If you are a parent/carer considering Mandeville as a school for your child, we would encourage you to contact the school office and speak to Mrs Lee Attridge to arrange a visit. We look forward to meeting you and to answering any questions you have about the provision your child will receive here. We would be proud to show you around our school so you can see learning in action!

Sporting Success

Mandeville v Sheering

Monday 2nd March 2015

Team: Rohan, Louis, Digby, Owen, Kasey, Ashton, Charlie M, Leo, Stan, Ian and Luke

Mandeville’s start was a bit shaky, however after a few minutes they got into their stride. After 9 minutes Rohan ran down the right wing, passed to Ashton who then passed to Digby who scored. Sheering hadn’t given up. Charlie got kicked in the face but carried on bravely. Against the flow of play Sheering scored. Mandeville was on the break again and scored again. Unfortunately this was disallowed due to a handball. Mandeville went ahead by a goal from Ashton. The half time whistle blew. In the second half Mandeville were playing into the wind. Mandeville were ahead 2:1. After the break some substitutions were made. Sheering put pressure on and, as a result, scored another equaliser, 2:2. In the closing minutes it became tense. Digby scored again putting Mandeville ahead 3:2. Sheering didn’t give up but Mandeville scored another goal making the final score 4:2. Everyone played well but a special mention to Leo in goal who made some excellent saves. Digby was voted man of the match by his other team players. We look forward to the next match!
